This is a very sophisticated profiler.  It is not for someone who is challenged mechanically.  It comes with 2 extra blades and a tool to help sharpen the blades.  This profiler cuts a pattern into the cane so that the reed maker has a taper not only from back to front, but from the center to the sides of the reed as well.  The advantage to a double barrel profiler is that there is less margin for error when you finish the reed.
