This bassoon is gorgeous! The instrument is exactly 100 years old! It was Carl Sawicki’s last project. The finish and plating are beautiful. The bassoon has all the key work including a high D key and a high E key. There is no whisper key lock and no water tubes in the left first or second finger or the right first finger. This bassoon has had all the major work done to it but it will need some touching up with the repair as it hasn’t been played in the past 6 years or so. My guess is that $1000 with a good repair person would go a long way. This is a gorgeous instrument!
