This is a very interesting bassoon! This instrument was made in 1938 and there were many interesting selections chosen. The most notable is with the long joint. This is a “flat top”. This is uncharacteristic of the time as was the placement of the low B key. I would be proud to show off these features, though! The ivory bell ring is also very pretty! The bassoon has a high D and a high E key and a left hand whisper key lock. The instrument also has offset high Eb and E keys which I think is a great option. The instrument also has a left hand whisper key lock. There is some tarnish and a little bit of leaking. The instrument is being price to reflect those things. Check it out!
