This is one of the early Bells made and it looks and sounds great! I have had a few people try it now and we are all very impressed. Benson Bell is one of the most respected bassoon makers in the world. He has continued to make improvements for many years. There is something about a broken in bassoon that is vibrating, though, that can’t be beat. This instrument was made in 1995 and has played in some of the world’s finest halls. It’s owner is now retired and this thing needs a new home. There is a little bit of tarnish and maintenance to be done but there is no question that this is a good bassoon. It’s being sold in an MB case. Check it out!
