Adam Trussell Double Reeds

This is a great bassoon that has been cared for very nicely.  It comes with 2 Puchner bocals in the original case with an Altieri soft case cover as well.  There is a high D but no high E key.  The finish and plating are in excellent shape for it’s age.  My guess is that this bassoon was made sometime in the early 70s.  I actually recently purchased a very similar bassoon in much worse condition as a backup project.  I feel like these older Puchners are the best kept secret.  I plan to restore the one I bought and hope it will be as nice as this one.  There is a nice even scale and a good amount of resistance so that you can make a nice warm/dark sound.  These German made instruments are very solid.
